About

     Karah Shea is a Graduate of Young Harris College and a Cobb County, Georgia local, with a BA in Art and Graphic Design and a minor in Outdoor Studies. On Karah’s downtime, she enjoys taking nature walks, exploring nearby towns, Geocaching, spending time with family, and creating artwork.

     Karah demonstrates organization, enthusiasm, and perseverance in her work as an artist and as a person. As a fine artist, symbolism plays an important role in her work. She enjoys using found objects such as piano keys, photographs, vintage metal, and natural materials as a way to drive a story or an idea.

 

     As a designer, Karah uses her design sensibilities to present and promote her body of work. She aims to evoke a sense of wonder and appreciation for the beauty of creation and hopes the viewer reflects upon, and finds relatable aspects within her work.
